XSP needle roller and cage assemblies, needle roller bearings and drawn cup needle roller bearings are free-end bearings. When combined with a thrust retaining ring, it can act as a locating bearing and can withstand small locating loads with adequate lubrication and low rotational speeds. Other positioning bearings usually take up more space. Combined needle roller bearings are locating or one-way locating bearings with the smallest radial cross-section height. Radial needle roller bearings are used in combination with thrust ball bearings or cylindrical roller bearings, bearings for worms, die head spindles and similar applications.
